Privacy Policy

The following policy statement explains how Emarketeers protects the privacy of information supplied by its clients for the purposes of digital marketing training and consultancy. Emarketeers takes the privacy of its course attendees seriously and is committed to safeguarding user information in full compliance with the most current regulations as described in this privacy policy, which explains among other things:

The personal information that Emarketeers collects from users of Emarketeers and the protections employed by Emarketeers in safeguarding such personal information.

Here at Emarketeers, we take your privacy seriously, and will only use your personal information that you have provided, to administer your account, and to provide the training and consulting and services you have requested from us.

However, from time to time we would like to contact you with details of other digital marketing training and consultancy services we provide. If you consent to us contacting you for this purpose, get in touch and select the opt-in checkbox, indicating that you agree to receiving email communication from us.

We will never pass your details onto any other company for any other purpose.

How we use your personal information

This privacy notice is to let you know how Emarketeers promise to look after your personal information. This includes what you tell us about yourself, what we learn by having you as a customer, and the choices you give us about what marketing you want us to send you. This notice explains how we do this and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We will use the email and phone number you provide to process your booking, manage the payment procedure, share the course material and feedback from each course you attend. We may also use the email address provided to inform you of other training courses or consultancy services which may be relevant. Please note, your contact details will never be shared with anyone outside of Emarketeers for marketing purposes.

Marketing

We may use your personal information to tell you about relevant products and offers. This is what we mean when we talk about ‘marketing’.

The personal information we have for you is made up of what you tell us, and data we collect when you use our training or consulting services. We analyse this to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you.

We can only use your personal information to send you marketing messages if we have either your consent or a "legitimate interest". That is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your information. It must not unfairly go against what is right and best for you.

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages by contacting us at any time, via privacy@emarketeers.com.

How long we keep your personal information

We will keep your personal information for ten years to allow Emarketeers to respond to any questions or complaints. We may keep your data for longer than 10 years if we cannot delete it for legal, regulatory or technical reasons. We may also keep it for research or statistical purposes. If we do, we will make sure that your privacy is protected and only use it for those purposes.

Letting us know if your personal information is incorrect

You have the right to question any information we have about you that you think is wrong or incomplete. Please contact us if you want to do this via privacy@emarketeers.com.

If you do, we will take reasonable steps to check its accuracy and correct it.

How to withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please contact us if you want to do so via privacy@emarketeers.com or call us on 0207 433 2535.

If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. If this is the case, we will tell you.

Non-personal data

Emarketeers has access to non-personal data, through analytics tools, solely to help Emarketeers determine the success and usefulness of its website and marketing activity. This generic information, which does not reveal the identity of the visitor, includes, but is not limited to: the country of origin, time spent on the website, most and least popular pages, referrer domain or IP address, aggregated search data, browser and operating system and the originating website of the visitor. This information aids Emarketeers to improve its services and marketing activity.

Personal data

Emarketeers only obtains specific data about its website visitors when such data is supplied voluntarily, e.g. when website visitors send contact enquiries or places a booking. Emarketeers then uses the data for the purpose of fulfilling the visitors' requests. Emarketeers only collect personal data that are adequate, relevant and not excessive given the purposes for which they are collected and will not be used outside the remit of legitimate interests.

Cookies

Emarketeers' website employs "cookies". Cookies are small segments of text that are transmitted to a visitor's web browser and which store information on the visitor's hard drive. This information is later transmitted back to the server that originally sent it to the visitor upon a later visit to that site. Cookies allow servers to recall previous transactions to avoid repetition in data gathering. A visitor can configure its equipment hardware, usually with its browser to make notification when they receive a cookie. The visitor can refuse it. Emarketeers' cookies reflect identifying information about each visitor and retain certain non-identifying information about the user's use of the website and search or referrer activity.

Cookies cannot be used to obtain other information from your hard disk. Emarketeers will always prompt the user, upon first visit, with information to highlight that we are using cookies and collect information which may then be used to understand information about that visitor and/or re-target the user with further relevant marketing collateral. The user can at any point, delete their cookies, should they wish to do so.

Data protection

Emarketeers will not sell or reveal information obtained about its visitors to anyone outside of Emarketeers unless: authorized by the visitor, it is legally required, or such disclosure is required to protect the safety of employees, visitors, customers, or property. Emarketeers does not send junk (spam) email, although in some instances, when Emarketeers wishes to contact customers via email, respond to messages, or transmit information requested by a visitor, Emarketeers will use email.

Revision of privacy policy

Emarketeers reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time without notice and with immediate, retroactive effect on all User information previously collected. Each visitor agrees to review the website regularly for changes in the privacy policy, and agrees to consent in advance to such changes.

Emarketeers wants its visitors and customers to feel that their privacy will be protected when the visitor submits an enquiry online.
