Emarketeers’ Courses Now Available Online
4 April 2014, Jonathan Saipe
Our recent Digital iskills survey highlighted a key challenge for the Digital industry: to keep digital skills and talent in line with sector spend levels and technology developments.
A combination of lack of formal training and low budgets, means that a model of self-service (and online) learning is becoming increasingly common as illustrated below.
We recognise that each person prefers different learning styles, and that both time and budgets are constrained as the world of digital marketing rapidly evolves. So, in order to meet these needs, Emarketeers has launched a new series of online digital marketing courses, making learning as simple and accessible as possible.
It’s not new
Whilst the term elearning has only been around for 15 years or so, the concept is not new, and can be traced back to the mid 1800’s when Isaac Pitman launched a shorthand course via the mail system.
Thankfully we are no longer reliant on the mail system for interaction and teaching methods, but the basic principles remain, and we hope we have adhered to these in creating our distance learning programme.
How does the Emarketeers elearning programme work?
We have tried to make our distance learning programme as simple and effective as possible, with 7 topics currently available including:
- PPC & AdWords
- Email Marketing
- Digital Marketing Essentials
- Social Media Strategy
- Mobile Usability & UX
- User Experience Design
Our online courses reflect our classroom materials, learning style and references, not to mention the same great set of trainers who deliver face-to-face courses.
Courses are delivered in simple-to-digest video modules enabling you learn in the way you want, at a pace that suits you.
Designed for HR and Learning & Development
In addition to catering to the busy marketing professional, our elearning platform allows HR and L&D teams to monitor the progress and activity of members of staff enrolled on our courses. Reporting includes course and module completion rates by individual users or teams.
If you want to be ahead of the digital curve, but have time and budget pressures you need to control, feel free to email us, or call us on 0845 680 1235 for more information.
